Who We Are
Individual Achievements Association (IAA) was founded in 1998 by a group of parents in Tucson, Arizona, who saw a need for and an opportunity to provide better services to those affected by motor disability. Today, now known as GaitWay, the organization continues this focus for children, young adults, and families throughout the Southwest.

GaitWay was a parent-directed organization for the first ten years of operation. In late 2008, the Board of Directors committed to growing the organization into a community-based program. This effort gave way to a new name: GaitWay. GaitWay provides help, hope, and support for families and children and young adults affected by motor disabilities because of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, or other brain injury.
In 2010, GaitWay is providing approximately 42 weeks of group and private classes. Individual Achievements Association, the parent of GaitWay, is an approved vendor for Conductive Education services for the Arizona Division for Developmental Disabilities-eligible individuals.
