Children with Motor Disabilities
JOB OPENINGS : Classroom Assistant, Part
time or full time.
Conductive Education is an intensive training
for children with Cerebral Palsy and similar disabilities. In a classroom
setting, in small groups, children practice movement, sitting, standing,
stretching, using their arms and hands and other activities that
can increase their independence. The children are ages 3-18 years
old.
Job Description: Assisting children with disabilities
in the classroom under the direct supervision of a Conductive Education
Teacher. The position requires some lifting. On-the-job training
is provided.
Hours: 3:30 – 5:30 March 8-April 12, and
April 26 – May 26, 2006.
Summer Camp: June 5-July 28. Monday – Friday
from 9-5.
Rate: $8 - $8.50/hour
Requirements: Must be at least18 years old and
like to work and play with children!
CPR and First Aid Training before the start of the program.
Job Location: The classrooms are located at 4710
E. 29 th Street, Building 12 (Southeast corner of 29 th and Swan)
